Safety Training Videos | Frequently Asked Questions

Summit has contracted with a vendor to offer you access to hundreds of online training videos to enhance your business’s safety program.

Training videos are available for many types of industries, hazards and general safety topics, such as safety leadership, driving safety, construction safety, school site safety, ergonomics, food and restaurant safety, and many more!

 

The website and videos are responsive, which means that they can be viewed on computers,  laptops, tablets and smartphones. 

 

Because they’re online, the videos are available to you anytime, anywhere. Be sure to bookmark the site so that you can easily access it. 

 

You’ll have access to more than 900 training videos.

Yes, many of the videos are also available in Spanish. And they’re clearly marked to ensure that you select the correct language. 

 

Most average about 15 to 20 minutes in length. 

 

Use a conference room to show videos to groups or simply watch from a smartphone at a jobsite with smaller groups. Engage your trainees with a question/answer session. Many of the videos also come with quizzes for your attendees. Be sure to discuss any questions or areas that may require extra attention. Stress the parts of the training that apply to your worksites. Ask your attendees if they have examples. Ask for each crew member to commit to working safely and watching out  for their coworkers.

 

Yes! Many videos offer support materials, such as quizzes and training guides. These downloadable files can be found at the bottom of the video course page under Course Materials.

 

Request access by emailing [email protected]. When requesting access, please provide the following information:

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • State 
  • Policy name and number (For agency staff, we’ll  just need the agency name.) 

A username and password will be emailed to you within 24 to 48 business hours with a link to Summit’s safety video vendor.

Once credentials are established, you can explore the video resource anytime, anywhere. Here’s how to get there:

  • Go to https://learn.streamery.co.   
  • Enter username and password.
  • Once logged in, click on Browse Topics.
  • Click the video title, then click Play Video.
